Fatih Koç

Fatih Koç has a strong background as a DevOps Engineer, with experience in various companies and roles. Fatih started their career as a System Engineer at Solus Bilişim Teknolojileri in 2020, where they provided support and consultancy, utilizing technologies such as OpenShift, Ceph, Red Hat Virtualization/oVirt, and IBM FlashSystem family. In 2021, they joined Bimser Çözüm as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on automation, maintenance, and scaling of services in the cloud environment, particularly AKS. Fatih also worked on security and performance improvements using Kubernetes, Azure, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, and Grafana. Later in 2021, they joined FTech Labs Bilişim A.Ş. as a DevOps Engineer, involved in the installation, management, scaling, and automation of all environments for their mobile application. Fatih was responsible for designing and continuously improving every step in the application lifecycle, utilizing technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Bitbucket Pipelines, Cassandra, Kafka, EFK stack, k6, Golang, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Istio. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Smartex as a DevOps Engineer.

Fatih Koç earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Cukurova University, which they attended from 2015 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Fatih Koç also obtained several certifications. These include the "GitOps Fundamentals Certified for ArgoCD" and "GitOps at Scale for ArgoCD" certifications from Codefresh in October 2022, the "CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator" certification from The Linux Foundation in January 2023, the "CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer" certification from The Linux Foundation in December 2022, the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022, the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2022, and the "CKS: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist" certification from The Linux Foundation in March 2023.
