Mehmet Tevfik Alkan has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Mehmet Tevfik started their career as an Accountant at Garanti Koza in 2008 and worked there until 2009. Mehmet Tevfik then joined Vanilla Tours as a Sales Representative in 2010, later becoming a Business Development Manager from 2012 to 2014. After that, they worked at Management Events as a Sales Manager from 2014 to 2017. Mehmet Tevfik then joined Amadeus IT Group as an Account Manager, supporting online travel agencies with their business operations and IT investments. In 2019, Mehmet joined VNGRS as an Account Manager, and eventually became the Commercial Operations Director. VNGRS is an end-to-end solutions partner specializing in digital transformation projects for enterprises and startups.
Mehmet Tevfik Alkan has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Istanbul University. From 1993 to 2001, they attended Istanbul Erkek Lisesi, where they studied Maths and Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Deutsches Sprachdiplom Stufe II (C1) from Ständige Konferenz der Kultusminister der Länder in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in May 2001. In 2016, they received a certification in Sales Management from Johtajatiimi / OY Imperial Sales AB. In 2017, they obtained the Negotiation Skills certification from The Mentor Consulting, and in 2018, they completed the Advanced Sales & Negotiation course by Tim Royds from Highclere. Most recently, in February 2020, they acquired the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
