Pieter van Den Berg

Pieter van den Berg serves as a Founding Partner at Sophista Fusies en Overnames since June 2000, focusing on strategic issues and corporate finance for family-owned businesses and directors major shareholders. Pieter is also a Partner at Twine, contributing to real-time KPI analyses for business growth since January 2017, and a Partner at Guidon Groep, offering full-service advisory support to entrepreneurs. Since January 2024, Pieter holds the position of interim chairman at VNO-NCW Noordwest-Holland, representing business interests in the region. Previously, Pieter participated as a facilitator in the Governance Essentials Program for the NCD from June 2016 to September 2021, and served as Chair of the Supervisory Board for De Bieb voor de Zaanstreek from 2009 to 2014. Pieter's earlier roles include Managing Director at Corporate Express/Buhrman N.V. and Director-Owner of Dingler Kantoorcentrum B.V. Pieter holds a degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
