Mahima Dubey is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in plant molecular biology and biotechnology. Currently employed at VNR Seeds Private Limited since July 2018, Mahima specializes in applying DNA-based markers to develop fingerprint patterns for advantageous traits in vegetable crops, utilizing key biotechnological tools for trait-specific marker development and Marker Assisted Selection. Prior to this role, Mahima served as a Research Associate at the Department of Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, where involvement in pioneering crop bio-fortification research focused on rice and minor millets occurred from September 2009 to July 2018. Mahima also contributed to a clinical trial of a rotavirus vaccine as a Research Fellow at the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute between March 2008 and July 2009. Mahima holds a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology, a Master's degree in Agricultural Biotechnology, and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from prestigious Indian institutions.
