Shahar Matorin

Shahar Matorin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the startup and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Country Manager for Israel at Startup Grind since August 2013, Shahar Matorin is dedicated to supporting startups through education and community engagement. In addition to this role, Shahar Matorin also holds the position of Tel Aviv Chapter Director, facilitating connections among entrepreneurs and fostering growth through monthly events. As a mentor at Techstars since 2018, Shahar Matorin continues to guide emerging businesses. Previous experience includes roles as HP Product Manager and Business Development at Harel Information Technologies, as well as positions focused on business development and sales at Harel Computers and MCN. Earlier in the career, Shahar Matorin was the Global IT Manager at Nexus Telocation Systems, managing IT projects in the LBS industry. Educational achievements include an MCSE degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from John Bryce and a school diploma from Hadar.
