Mark van de Mortel

Mark van de Mortel is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Directeur of Grescollege and continuing as Directeur of ROER College Schöndeln as of August 2024. Mark holds multiple advisory roles, including membership in the Themacommissie Digitalisering at VO-raad and as Interne projectleider for Blended Learning and AI initiatives at Stichting Onderwijs Midden-Limburg. As founder of Mark van de Mortel Educational Technology Consultancy, Mark focuses on innovative educational practices through keynotes and workshops. With a strong background in technology integration, Mark is a Google Certified Innovator and Apple Distinguished Educator, leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning. Mark's leadership experience is supported by a solid educational foundation, including a Master's degree in Educational Management and ongoing studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, Mark has organized TEDxRoermond and chaired the Krampsfonds, supporting students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
