Ana Iriarte Ruiz

Ana Iriarte Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in academia and industry. Ana is currently working as an Adjunct Professor at the Universidad Pública de Navarra. Prior to this, they served as the Lead DSP Scientist at Voccent, where they applied their expertise in digital signal processing. Before that, they worked as a Professional Freelancer on Upwork, where they provided their services to clients on a freelance basis.

In terms of industry experience, Ana worked as a Biometrics Engineer at Veridas, where they developed and integrated voice recognition and speaker identification algorithms. Ana also gained experience as a Research and Development Engineer at Micrima Limited, where they focused on signal and image processing software development.

Notably, Ana has extensive experience in academia. Ana served as an Associate Professor at Universidad CEU San Pablo, where they lectured and conducted research in the field of Signal Processing. Ana also worked as a Visiting Professor at Universidad de Santiago de Chile and the University of Oxford. Additionally, they held roles as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, where they contributed to the implementation and development of iterative reconstruction algorithms for PET.

Ana Iriarte Ruiz completed their Master of Science degree in Telecommunication Engineering at Universidad Pública de Navarra from 1997 to 2003. Ana then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, receiving their degree in 2012. In 2005, they also undertook a Teaching Certificate (CAP) at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
