Ana then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, receiving their degree in 2012. In 2005, they also undertook a Teaching Certificate (CAP) at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
