Aparna Navalgund

Aparna Navalgund has a diverse work experience in the field of wireless engineering and software development. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Principal Wireless Engineer at Stryker since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vocera as a Senior Wireless Engineer starting from January 2017.

In 2014, Aparna joined Broadcom Limited as a Principal Engineer, where they worked on enhancing and maintaining the company's 802.11 Enterprise radio driver and firmware software. Aparna'stenure at Broadcom lasted until February 2015.

Before joining Broadcom, Aparna worked at Motorola Solutions for a significant period of time, starting in April 2006 and continuing until December 2013. During their time at Motorola, they held the role of Distinguished Member of Technical Staff and gained 13 years of experience in Wi-Fi Firmware Engineering. Aparna was responsible for delivering Wi-Fi radio solutions on Motorola's Enterprise Mobility devices and played a key role in the design and development of various 802.11 projects.

Aparna's earlier work experience includes their role as a Senior Software Consultant at Patni Computer Systems from August 2000 to March 2006. At Patni, they worked in the Embedded Systems group and collaborated with customers like BOSE audio, Schindler Lifts, TRANE, Hand-Held Products, Symbol/Motorola, IBM Rational, and I-Logix. Aparna'sresponsibilities included the development and maintenance of Firmware software on RTOS like VxWorks and QNX, as well as customer-specific ASIC systems.

Aparna Navalgund received their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, Sardar Patel University, India, from 1996 to 2000.
