Mike Ryker

Mike Ryker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mike started their career as a Consultant Support Specialist at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, where they worked from 2000 to 2002. Mike then joined Community Health Network in 2002 as a Desktop Architect, responsible for managing a desktop environment at multiple locations. After that, they served as an IP Telephony Network Engineer at the same organization from 2007 to 2011. Following their time at Community Health Network, Mike joined Vocera Communications in 2011. Mike held various roles, including Project Manager and Platform Product Manager. As a Project Manager, Mike managed software releases and customer escalations. As a Platform Product Manager, they acted as a subject matter expert and customer advocate for internal products.

Mike Ryker received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree with a minor in Mathematics from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Mike obtained this degree between 1999 and 2004. Additionally, Mike has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2007, they obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco, and in 2010, they obtained the CCNA Voice certification, also from Cisco. In 2014, Mike obtained the CSPO certification from Scrum Alliance, followed by the CSM certification from the same institution. Most recently, in 2021, Mike obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner and Certified SAFe® 5 Agile Product Manager certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc.
