Stan Carey

Stan Carey has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Stan started their career at Nortel Networks in 1984, where they held various sales and procurement positions until 1997. Stan then worked as the owner of EdgeTek from 1997 to 2006. After that, they served as the Western Canada Sales Manager at Tyco International from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they worked as the Strategic Accounts Manager for British Columbia at RONA from 2009 to 2012.

Stan then joined Vocera Communications in 2012, initially working as an Account Manager for Western Canada and Australia. Stan later became an Area Sales Manager for Canada West, responsible for developing net new sales and expanding existing bases. In 2015, they were promoted to the role of Senior Area Sales Manager, focusing on consultative sales to healthcare executives and long-term care providers.

Stan further excelled at Vocera and took up the position of Senior Health Systems Director Canada in 2017. In this role, they led the sales team, developed strategic account plans, ensured effective communication between Health Systems and Vocera, conducted presentations and negotiations, forecasted business and sales pipeline, and coached on building sales pipelines.

Additionally, from 2017 to 2019, Stan served as the Area Vice President for Canada at Vocera, where they recruited, coached, and managed a team of Area Sales Managers and developed sales strategies to achieve regional goals.
