Leon Potgieter

Leon Potgieter is an accomplished Certified Data Centre Operation Facilities Manager with extensive experience in data center management and telecommunications. Since August 2010, Leon has been with Vodacom, overseeing data center operations while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and health and safety regulations. Prior to that, Leon worked as a Hosting Data Center Facilities Manager at Neotel SA from July 2009 to July 2010, and as a Hosting Data Center Manager at UUNET SA from September 1999 to June 2009. Leon's career began at Telkom, where significant skills in telecommunications were developed from 1984 to 1999. Educational qualifications include telecommunications training from Telkom SA and additional certifications in hosting and data centers from UUNET - Vodacom.
