Vukani Nhlapo

Vukani Nhlapo began their work experience in 2002 as a Programmer at Telkom, where they developed reports for Revenue Assurance. Vukani then worked as a Programmer at Standard Bank in 2006. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Programmer at Fujitsu. In 2009, they joined Business Connexion as a C Programmer, focusing on product development for a mobile operator. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as a Programmer at Discovery, mainly using C code and Oracle SQL for Risk Management Systems. In 2017, they became a Senior Software Developer at Mango Airlines, where they worked on booking system development. In 2018, they joined Vodacom as a Senior Software Engineer. Vukani later became a Solutions Architect, responsible for designing and delivering new digital solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Technical Delivery Lead at Vodacom.

Vukani Nhlapo studied Information Technology at Mangosuthu Technikon. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including Practical DevOps and React, Redux and TypeScript from NobleProg, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and TOGAF 10 from The Open Group.
