Vikas Agarwal

Vikas Agarwal has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as DGM- Transport Performance and DGM - Regional Capacity Planning for West Geography at Vodafone Idea Limited since August 2018. Vikas has played a pivotal role in planning Regional and Metro DWDM networks across several key regions, optimizing bandwidth orders, and enhancing resource allocation for network performance. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Idea Cellular Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed transmission planning, network design for 2G to 3G/4G transitions, and vendor evaluations for MPLS-TP implementations. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Government Engineering College, Ajmer, and has furthered expertise in Data Analytics and Data Science through a Coursera course completed in 2024.
