Vishnu Pillay

Vishnu Pillay has extensive work experience in the telecom industry, particularly in roles related to configuration, operations, and management. VISHNU began their career with Idea Cellular Ltd in 2005 as a Team Member in BSS Operations, where they handled configurations, physical recharge vouchers, and prepaid complaints for the Kerala Circle. Vishnu then moved on to roles as a Team Lead and Senior Manager, focusing on the configuration and operations of the prepaid BSS/Charging system in Ericsson Platform for Kerala. VISHNU also gained expertise in conducting health checkups, rectifying hardware issues, and upgrading various IN and PCRF Nodes.

In 2018, Vishnu joined Vodafone Idea Limited as the Head of Central Product Configuration. In this role, they collaborated with the senior leadership team to develop and implement cost-effective solutions and technology initiatives. VISHNU also designed and orchestrated solutions for competitive product offerings, uniform product journeys, and differentiated end-user experiences for revenue enhancement across PAN India operations. Vishnu was also responsible for program management of transformation projects in a multi-vendor environment with complex legacy architectures to achieve cost synergy and future technology readiness.

Vishnu Pillay has a diverse education history. VISHNU obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science from the College of Applied Science (IHRD), Govt.High School Campus, Mavelikkara in 1998. VISHNU then pursued a Master of Computer Applications degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from KSR Institute for Engineering and Technology, Namakkal between 2001 and 2004. During the same time period, they also earned another Master of Computer Applications degree in Computer Science from KKR&KSR Institute of Technology & Sciences, Vinjanampadu Village (CC-JR). Later, in 2011 to 2013, they completed a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Bharathiar University.
