Gillis Cortvriend

Gillis Cortvriend is an experienced professional in both coaching and education. Currently serving as Hoofdcoach Nat. Beloften at EM United since May 2024 and as a Docent at Voetbal Vlaanderen since November 2021, Gillis has a diverse coaching background that includes roles as a Trainer/Coach for various youth teams at Cercle Brugge KSV and Waasland-Beveren, as well as an Assistant Coach for KSC Wielsbeke's national U21 team. Additionally, Gillis has held the position of Regional Sales Manager at Gehco since October 2011. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Sport from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, earned between 2002 and 2006, contributes to a strong foundation in both academic and practical aspects of sport.
