Yonah de Waegeneer

Yonah De Waegeneer serves as the Chairman of Jong VLD Herzele since April 2022, advocating for liberal values on societal issues independently of political parties. In addition to this leadership role, Yonah has been a Referee Ambassador for KVC De Toekomst Borsbeke since March 2022, mentoring young players in arbitration and implementing a rotation system for engaging youth players and club referees. As a Referee with Voetbal Vlaanderen since January 2019, Yonah facilitates effective communication during matches alongside assistant referees. Professional experience includes a Tax Trainee position at Deloitte in 2024, an apprenticeship at ALDI Belgium focusing on organizational support and wellbeing projects, and a Junior HR Business Recruiter role at Lagom Engineering, where skills in recruitment were developed. Educational background features a Master's degree in Taxation from Ghent University (anticipated June 2024), a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management (2023), and a Middle School Diploma in Economics (2020).
