Manon Tentij

Manon Tentij has extensive experience in conservation and environmental management, currently serving as the Chief Conservation Officer and member of the management team at Vogelbescherming Nederland since December 2001. In this role, Manon oversees the development of conservation strategies and manages various teams focused on policy, urban environments, and nature preservation. Previous positions include strategic management of bird conservation under the Programma Naar een Rijke Waddenzee, where responsibilities included leading initiatives, representing the program in various governance bodies, and developing key strategic documents. Manon also has a strong educational background, holding a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Amsterdam and numerous certifications in coaching, project management, and conservation strategies.
