Heather Flynn

Heather Flynn has a strong background in science, data management, and scientific operations. Their most recent role was as a Senior Director of Science and Data Management at VOIANT™ starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at WorldCare Clinical for four years as a Senior Director of Scientific Operations. Before that, they held various roles at Bioxydyn Limited, including Head of Imaging Services and Senior Imaging Project Manager. Heather also has experience at AstraZeneca as a Medical Imaging Scientist, Associate Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist, where they provided medical imaging support, science leadership, and managed projects. Heather began their career as a Post Doctoral Scientist at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research in 2003.

Heather Flynn obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Salford, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Heather later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in PET Imaging and radiopharmaceutical development at The University of Manchester from 1999 to 2003. In 2017, they obtained a certification in PRINCE2 from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
