Frank Yu Cheng Gu

Frank Yu Cheng Gu is the current Director of Engineering at Voiceflow. Frank has also worked as a Cloud Architect and Solutions Architect in the past.

Frank has experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining all types of cloud infrastructure. Frank is skilled in migrating legacy services into Kubernetes, creating and automated CI/CD workflows, and endpoint logging and health monitoring.

At Phenomic AI, Frank was responsible for the entire high-throughput ML cloud infrastructure. Frank successfully migrated the existing deep-learning data analysis pipeline into Google Compute Platform and AWS. Frank is also experienced in deploying autoscaling GPU-accelerated containers running Python notebooks.

Frank Yu Cheng Gu has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Toronto. Frank also has an International Baccalaureate Diploma from SHSID. Frank is certified from CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation] as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and from Google as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect. Frank is also certified from Amazon Web Services as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate.
