Dylan Brand

Dylan Brand serves as President of Typhon Risk since April 2021, specializing in providing fractional insurance expertise to managing general agencies, retail/wholesale agencies, and third-party administrators. Dylan has also taken on advisory and mentoring roles at multiple organizations, including VOOM Insurance, Reserv, and InsurTech NY. With extensive experience at James River Insurance Company, Dylan held various positions including Director of Operations and Head of Claims, overseeing multiple claims departments and managing technology and operational projects. Previous roles at Travelers and BB&T laid a strong foundation in claims adjustment and customer relationship management. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a B.S. in Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University, along with an Associate in Risk Management from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
