Ann Kristin Emblem

Ann Kristin Emblem is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and legal expertise, currently serving as Høgskoledirektør and Studiedirektør at Høgskulen i Volda since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ann Kristin held the position of Regionleder at Folkeuniversitetet Midt-Norge from January 2010 to September 2021, and served as Senior skattejurist at Skatteetaten from January 2004 to December 2009, where responsibilities included tax-related tasks and management. Ann Kristin has also held significant roles within Skatteetaten, including Fylkesskattesjef and Ligningssjef, where leadership and organizational restructuring were key focuses. With a background in tax law from Advokatfirmaet PricewaterhouseCoopers Da and various academic positions, Ann Kristin's academic credentials include a Master’s in Knowledge Management from Copenhagen Business School and a Cand.jur. from the University of Oslo.
