Rolando A. Bonilla

Rolando Bonilla is an experienced strategist and public servant with a diverse background in communications and policy development. As Chief Strategy Officer at Voler Strategic Advisors since August 2010, Bonilla has leveraged expertise gained as Director of Communications for the City of San Jose from September 2007 to November 2010, where the focus was on public safety initiatives. Bonilla served as Juvenile Probation Commissioner and Youth Commissioner for the City and County of San Francisco, providing advisory roles on youth and family policies. Additional contributions include participation on the San Francisco Department of Public Health's Health Commission and involvement in the development of the city's Harm Reduction policy. Bonilla holds a Juris Doctor from San Francisco Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Francisco.
