Ian Horton-Plant

Ian Horton-Plant has a strong background in temporary works and engineering. Ian started their career as a Site Engineer at Kier Construction Ltd. in 2007 and worked in that role until 2012.

From 2012 to 2017, Ian held multiple roles at Kier Group. Ian served as a Section Engineer, responsible for the installation of a 700m long box culvert and later overseeing the performance and development of Site Engineers. Ian also served as a Temporary Works Coordinator, managing temporary works elements such as bridges, drainage, and formwork on a regulated project.

Since 2017, Ian has been working at VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd as the Lead Temporary Works Coordinator. Ian recently took on the role of Head of Temporary Works. However, specific dates for this role have not been provided.
