Thomas Briggs

Thomas Briggs has extensive experience in commercial management and quantity surveying, currently serving as the Commercial Director for Major Projects at VolkerRail Ltd since 2008, where progression through various roles demonstrates a solid foundation in the industry. Responsibilities encompass subcontract procurement, valuations, budget management, and contract administration, collaborating with notable clients such as Network Rail, Nexus, and Balfour Beatty. Prior roles include Alliance Commercial Manager at Rail Electrification Alliance, and Trainee Quantity Surveyor at Monaghans, as well as experience in property valuation at Halifax. Thomas Briggs holds a 1st Class BSC (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Human Geography from Sheffield Hallam University.
