Lars van der Meulen

Lars van der Meulen is a seasoned professional in sustainability and corporate social responsibility, currently serving as Directeur CSR at VolkerWessels since March 2019. In this role, Lars oversees the sustainability policy, develops vision and objectives, and manages reporting and monitoring activities while leading the knowledge center on sustainability. Prior to this, Lars held the position of Business Unit Manager at Aveco de Bondt from November 2009 to March 2019, where responsibilities included P&L management for the Environmental and Sustainability Business Unit. Lars's career also includes roles as a junior consultant in sustainable entrepreneurship at Royal HaskoningDHV and promoting activities for students in the environmental sector at ECO-job. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Social Geography and Planning from Radboud University, alongside a certification as an NLP Practitioner from NLP Academy.
