Percy Smith

Percy Smith has an extensive background in human resources, with experience in various roles and companies. Percy began their career in 2000 as a Group Manager of Human Resources at Coca Cola SABCO, where they worked until 2005. In 2006, they joined Volkswagen Group South Africa as an HR Director and held that position until July 2020. Percy then started their own consulting firm, Percival Smith Consulting, in August 2020, working as a Human Resources Consultant. In 2021, they returned to Volkswagen Group South Africa as the Human Resources Director. Currently, Percy is retired, as of July 2020, and worked at Home Inc for a brief period in the same year.

Percy Smith earned a BA in Social Work from the University of the Western Cape between 1980 and 1983, with a focus on Social Work, Psychology, and Sociology. In 2000, they briefly attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, specializing in Strategic Human Resources.
