Dave Rands

Dave Rands has an extensive work experience in the automotive industry, particularly in the financial services sector. Dave is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Volkswagen Financial Services - México. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Vice-President & CFO (US & Canada) at VW Credit Inc & VW Credit Inc. Canada from 2016 to 2021. Before that, they served as the Senior Vice-President Finance at VW Credit, Inc. in 2013 and held various roles in the company since joining in 2002, including Region Vice-President - Sales, Director Risk Management - Consumer Credit & RV, Chief Financial Officer - Volkswagen Bank, Corporate Controller, and Manager Reporting & Analysis. Before their tenure at VW Credit, Inc., they worked at Citi as the Director of Finance from 1997 to 2002.

Dave Rands completed a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations at the University of Utah from 1989 to 1994. Following this, they pursued an MBA at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah from 1994 to 1997.
