Julian Osborne

Julian Osborne is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Volkswagen Group UK Ltd since July 2013, Julian also holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer for EU National Sales Companies at Volkswagen AG. Other roles include membership on the Cyber and Technology Advisory Board at MK:U and participation in various advisory capacities, such as the CISO Governing Body at Evanta and the International Advisory Board for CCISO at EC-Council. Prior experience includes serving as Group IT Manager and Information Security Officer at IMS MAXIMS, where responsibilities encompassed corporate infrastructure strategy and client-facing support systems. Julian began the career as a Software & Network Engineer at IMS MAXIMS and Applied Interactive Ltd. Julian holds a B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds.
