Martin Matejicka

Martin Matejicka has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Martin started their career in 2010 as a Test Engineer at Volkswagen AG. Martin then moved on to ŠKODA AUTO a.s. in 2006, where they worked as a Technical Specialist until 2011. In 2012, Martin joined Shanghai Volkswagen as a Project Manager, focusing on car development. After five years in Shanghai, they returned to Volkswagen Slovakia in 2017, where they currently hold the position of Head of Department.

Martin Matejicka attended the University of Zilina from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained an Ing. degree in Railroad and Railway Transportation as well as Transportation/Mobility Management. In April 2020, they also obtained a private pilot license (PPL) from Seagle Air ATO.
