Benjamin Kirsch

Head Of Avionics & Flight Control at Volocopter

Benjamin Kirsch currently serves as the Head of Avionics & Flight Control and Function Owner Flight Control at Volocopter GmbH since January 2018, overseeing the Flight Control System for the VoloCity eVTOL. Prior to this, Benjamin Kirsch held multiple roles at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from December 2013 to December 2017, including Senior Flight Control Engineer and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, focusing on unmanned aerial vehicles and dependable robotics. Benjamin Kirsch also worked as an IT consultant and administrator at Kirsch IT from September 2009 to December 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Heidelberg University (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Hochschule Mannheim (2009-2013).
