Mario Beier

Mario is the Head of M&A and Strategic Cooperations –Tech & Venture- at Mercedes-Benz Group, responsible for acquisitions, divestitures, JVs, and cooperations to support Mercedes-Benz’ technical and strategic transformation agenda. His team is globally responsible for technology related M&A activities and all venture investments of the Mercedes-Benz Group. Prior to his current role, he worked in various corporate finance and M&A-related roles for Deutsche Bank, RWE, Lincoln International as well as LANXESS. His industry knowledge ranges, among others, from industrials, automotive, and chemicals. He also has a deep knowledge of the Asian markets, especially China.

Mario Beier received his Master’s degree in Finance & Production/Supply Chain Management from the University of Muenster and Aix-en-Provence. He is also a talented linguist, speaking five different languages.
