Michael Hillermeier

Michael Hillermeier has a diverse work experience ranging from strategic and leadership roles to internships in various industries. From 2018 onwards, they joined Volocopter GmbH and held several positions including Director of Strategy, Markets and Business Development, Director of VoloDrone Program, Head of Strategy & Execution, Supply Chain Lead, and Executive Assistant to CEO. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Leader and Managing Director at delta Karlsruhe GmbH. Michael also had experiences as a Master Thesis Student at wbk Institut für Produktionstechnik, a Consulting Intern at Porsche Consulting Group, an Intern at Daimler AG, a Bachelor Student in Supply Chain Riskmanagement at REHAU AG, and a Tutor at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT). In 2011, they had an internship at REHAU in production and quality management.

Michael Hillermeier obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2015. Michael then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering and Management at KIT from 2015 to 2018. In 2017, they also briefly attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Engineering. Additionally, in 2015 and 2016, Michael attended the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, studying Industrial Engineering. In 2022, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles.
