Cristina Xercavins has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Cristina started their career as an intern in AENA, where they provided operations and maintenance support. Afterward, they worked at Kris OnTheWay as a backpacker, volunteer, and travel blogger, exploring various African countries. Cristina then joined fastjet as a senior commercial executive, focusing on sales, distribution, and ancillary revenue. Currently, Cristina is employed at Volotea, where they have held various roles, including revenue manager and deputy chief people officer. Cristina currently serves as the chief people officer, overseeing the company's human resources department.

Cristina Xercavins has a BSc & MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which was a 5-year degree program completed from 2005 to 2010. Cristina also pursued an International Master in Management from EADA Business School from 2010 to 2011. In 2019, they completed a course on Developing Leadership Competences at IESE Business School.
