James Wilcox

James Wilcox has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. James currently holds the position of Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Volpara Health since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at the same company from July 2018 to August 2022. Before joining Volpara Health, James worked at Xero as an Infrastructure Automation Engineer from May 2014 to July 2018. James also has experience as a Cloud Solutions Engineer at Fronde, where they specialized in building and supporting environments in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and migrating on-premises environments to AWS from August 2012 to May 2014. James started their career as an IT Support Administrator at Wellington College in October 2008 and held this position until August 2012. In this role, they were responsible for various support tasks and system upgrades.

James Wilcox attended Wellington Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. In addition to their degree, James also obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In July 2013, they became an Amazon Web Services Certified Solution Architect (Associate). James further enhanced their skills by obtaining the Amazon Web Services Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate) certification in March 2014.
