Niina Golikova has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Niina started their career in 2010 as a Freelance Translator and Interpreter, providing services in sectors such as energy, finance, construction, legal, media, and entertainment. From 2010 to 2011, they also worked as a PA and Translator at Energy Invest Group.
In 2012, Niina worked as an Office Manager and Marketing Assistant at Wood & Company. Niina then transitioned to the role of Project Coordinator at ESM Events Management, Russian Ball London in 2014, where they were responsible for representing the organizers, coordinating different departments, securing sponsorships, and promoting the ball.

From 2017 to 2019, Niina worked as a Regional Account Manager at Confirmation, focusing on business development and strategic activities with banks and audit firms in Central & Eastern Europe. Niina continued this role at Thomson Reuters from 2019 to 2022, where they were responsible for building the commercial proposition and driving the adoption of electronic audit confirmations.
In 2022, Niina joined Elliptic as an Enterprise Sales Executive/EMEA. Here, they provided blockchain analytics solutions and services to crypto businesses, financial institutions, and regulators to detect and prevent financial crime in crypto assets.
Most recently, Niina Golikova joined Volt.io in 2023 as a Business Development Director. Volt.io aims to build a global infrastructure for real-time payments, enabling merchants worldwide to accept real-time account-based payments.
Niina Golikova attended Sillamae Astangu Secondary and High School from 1997 to 2008, where they obtained High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Niina also studied at Sillamae Music School from 1997 to 2004, specializing in piano (grade 7) and guitar (grade 2). Niina then pursued further education at Tallinn University from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree with a focus on secondary school teaching, specifically in the subjects of foreign languages and humanitarian studies. Finally, from 2011 to 2014, they pursued studies in Business Economics & Finance at London Metropolitan University.
