Sam Burgum

Sam Burgum has extensive work experience in various roles. In 2012, they worked as Bar Staff at Greene King, where they gained experience in the hospitality industry. In 2014, they had work experience at Duff & Phelps, followed by a similar role at The Co-operative Bank plc in 2015.

In 2016, Sam co-founded Optic Promotions, an events company, where they handled the organization, performance, and day-to-day management of various events across the UK until 2019.

From 2018 to 2022, Sam worked at CRS Ltd as the Head of Payments, specializing in matching candidates with organizations in the banking and finance industry.

Most recently, since April 2022, Sam has been the Head of Talent Acquisition at Volt.io. Sam has successfully expanded the workforce from 60 to 140 employees, exceeding hiring targets. Sam personally sourced all hires and championed diversity and inclusion through the creation of the Volt D&I Committee.

Sam Burgum completed their A Levels in Business, Economics, and Psychology at Bolton School from 2008 to 2015. Afterward, from 2015 to 2018, they attended Leeds Beckett University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.
