Alex Pakarian

Alex Pakarian has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They started their career as a Project Manager at Argus Consulting Group in 1999, where they excelled in managing client relations, project planning, and implementing accounting software. In 2001, they moved on to Unique Business Systems, where they served as a Senior Project Manager, implementing asset management software and proposing changes to enhance business processes. In 2004, Alex joined The Camera Division, taking on various roles within the finance and accounting departments. They eventually became the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2011, responsible for an aggregated Venture Debt portfolio of $30MM. Finally, in 2023, Alex joined Volt Lites, INC as the Director of Financial Operations.

Alex Pakarian attended the University of Southern California from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a focus on Accounting Information Systems. During the same period, they also attended the USC Marshall School of Business and obtained a BS in Accounting with a specialization in Accounting Information Systems.

In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained several through LinkedIn in 2023. Alex completed courses on Excel for Business Analysts, Accounting Foundations (including understanding the accounting cycle and accrual-basis accounting, as well as understanding the GAAP), Lean Accounting Foundations, and Learning Excel for Data Analysis. The specific months in which these certifications were obtained were March and February of 2023.
