Karen Ruszkoski

Karen Ruszkoski has extensive experience in the field of market access and reimbursement. Karen currently serves as the Vice President of Market Access and Reimbursement at Volta Medical since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Global Director, Health Economics and Reimbursement at Abbott from October 2018 to May 2023. Before joining Abbott, they were a Senior Manager of Reimbursement and Health Care Economics at St. Jude Medical from June 2016 to October 2018. Karen also has experience from Boston Scientific where they held multiple roles, including Sr. Global Marketing Manager from April 2013 to June 2016, and Manager of Health Economics and Reimbursement from May 2007 to April 2013. Karen began their career as a Consulting Group/Customer Engagement at HealthMedia from September 2005 to April 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Financial Analyst at MASSACHUSETTS EYE AND EAR INFIRMARY & PHYSICIAN STAFF, INC. from January 2003 to August 2005, and as a Reimbursement Analyst at Cambridge Health Alliance from May 2001 to January 2003.

Karen Ruszkoski obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire in 2000. Karen later pursued a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2007, specializing in Public Health.
