Evan Bailey

Evan Bailey is a highly skilled engineer currently serving as a Senior Engineer - Chassis at Volta Trucks since December 2023, with prior experience as a Design Engineer - Chassis within the same company from December 2021 to October 2023. During that time, Evan was responsible for designing components using CAD, creating engineering drawings, and facilitating the manufacturing process through collaboration with the test team and technicians. Previous experience includes working at Drive System Design as an Engineer focusing on transmission modeling and simulation, and contributing to a Formula Student Electric Powertrain project at Warwick Racing. Additional roles involve consulting on material properties as an intern at WMG, conducting performance and durability updates at HORIBA MIRA, and gaining early CAD experience at Kellands Agricultural Limited. Evan holds an MEng in Automotive Engineering from the University of Warwick, completed in 2018.
