Gustavo Fernandes

Gustavo Fernandes has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of International Development at Voltalia since September 2016, where responsibilities include leading the international development team and expanding into key markets across Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. Prior to this role, Gustavo held the position of Director at Martifer Solar, SA from October 2005 to August 2016, and served as Manager at Suprides XXI from January 2004 to March 2005. Early career experience includes work as a Research and Development Engineer at Microprocessador from September 2001 to December 2003. Gustavo holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Automation and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computers, both from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
