Monica Aldana

Monica Aldana has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Monica began their career in 2002 as a Desarrollador Analista at Grupo Ideas Computacionales de México, where they worked until 2004. Monica then joined Sistemas de Gestión Administrativa as a Desarrollador, before moving on to Genius Soft Legal Solutions as a Líder de Proyecto from 2005 to 2008. Monica then worked at Grupo Datrica as a Supervisor/Gerente de Desarrollo from 2008 to 2011. Monica then transitioned to freelance work as a Desarrollo WEB from 2011 to 2014. Monica joined BITS México as a Consultant in 2014 and stayed with the company until 2017. Monica currently works at Volteo as an Engagement Manager and Business Process Consultant since January 2020, after serving as a Technical Lead and Technical Consultant from 2017 to 2020.

Monica Aldana began their education journey in 1997, when they enrolled in Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México to pursue a Licentiate degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Monica successfully completed their degree in 2002. In 2012, Monica attended the same university again and completed a Diplomado in Database Administration.

Additionally, Monica has obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they became a Cherwell Service Management Technical Implementer, acquiring expertise in ITIL, ITSM, and SQL Server from Cherwell Software. In the same year, they also obtained the ITIL Foundations V3 certification from EXIN. Monica continued to enhance their knowledge and skills by achieving the Certified System Administrator certification from ServiceNow in 2017 and the Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management certification from ServiceNow in 2018. Most recently, in 2019, Monica achieved the Scrum Fundamentals Certified credential from VMEdu Inc.
