Pradeep Garigipati

Pradeep Garigipati has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Pradeep is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Voltron Data since November 2021. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2021, they worked at ArrayFire, starting as a Software Development Engineer and later transitioning to a Freelance Software Engineer. At ArrayFire, they were responsible for core services such as CUDA, OpenCL, and OpenGL programming, as well as developing and maintaining the open-source scientific computing library. Pradeep also undertook various consulting projects during this time.

Before joining ArrayFire, Pradeep worked as a Graphics Programmer in the Visualization Department at Texas A&M University from 2012 to 2013. Here, they worked on an image processing application and was responsible for designing the application, configuring the server, and developing the web application.

Prior to that, in 2012, they worked as a Rendering Programmer at the USC Institute of Creative Technologies. Pradeep'swork focused on analyzing and extracting subsurface scattering parameters using controlled lighting conditions and was published in IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications special issue.

Pradeep's earlier experiences include working as a Help Desk Assistant at the Open Access Labs in Texas A&M University from 2011 to 2012, where they provided solutions for computer-related issues faced by students. Pradeep also worked as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from 2008 to 2010. In this role, they were involved in WebSphere Application Server administration and automated application deployment using Jython scripting.

Pradeep Garigipati completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur from 2004 to 2008. Pradeep then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at Texas A&M University from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Pradeep has acquired several certifications in various fields. Pradeep obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2016. In March 2013, they completed a course titled "Image and video processing: From Mars to Hollywood with a stop at the hospital" from Coursera. Pradeep also holds certifications in Intel® Certified Instructor OpenMP Offload Basics and Intel® Certified Instructor oneAPI DPC++ Essentials from Intel Corporation, obtained in April 2021 and March 2021, respectively. Furthermore, they have a Certificate of Lean Six Sigma Proficiency from Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. obtained in January 2010, and an IBM Certified System Administrator certification in WebSphere Application Server, Network Deployment V6.1 from IBM, obtained in August 2009.
