Arslan Ahmad Bashir

Arslan Ahmad Bashir, D.Sc. (Tech.), currently serves as the Development Manager for Energy Market Services at Volue Oy, where responsibilities include executing innovation projects within the EU Horizon Program, co-creating solutions for the energy system, and analyzing business models while tracking market trends. With five years of experience at Aalto University as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Candidate in Power Systems, Arslan has published articles and developed expertise in energy system modeling, market clearing mechanisms, and demand response. Prior roles include Assistant Manager at the National Transmission & Dispatch Company (NTDC) in Pakistan, contributing to substation design and project management for high voltage systems. Arslan holds a Doctor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Aalto University, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Aalto University and the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, respectively.
