Fred Garrett

Fred Garrett is an experienced professional in risk management and safety, currently serving as Corporate Risk Manager at Coastal Waste & Recycling, Inc. since January 2022 and as Senior Vice President of Risk Management at Volume Transportation Inc. since April 2021. At Volume Transportation, Fred develops and oversees the safety department, ensuring compliance and training. Previously, as Vice President of Risk Management at PS Logistics LLC from April 2013 to April 2021, Fred established the Risk Management department. Earlier roles include Claims Administrator at Landair Transport, Inc. from June 2008 to March 2013, where Fred was responsible for developing the claims department and managing negotiations and settlements. Fred holds a Master of Arts Degree in Education Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Education from East Tennessee State University, with studies completed between 1982 and 1987.
