Ales Jurca

Ales Jurca has over 20 years of work experience. From 2015 to present, they have been working at Volumental, where they have held the roles of VP Foowear Research, VP Product, and Senior Product Owner. From 2005 to 2015, they were the CTO at UCS d.o.o. Prior to that, they were the Chief R&D at Alpina d.o.o. from 1999 to 2005. In 1998, they worked as a software developer at GE Spacenet in Atlanta, USA.

Ales Jurca obtained a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana between 1993 and 1998. Ales then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Information Technology from the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School between 2010 and 2016.
