Barbara Scheck

Barbara Scheck has extensive work experience in the field of business and entrepreneurship. Barbara is currently working as a Visiting Faculty at New York University Abu Dhabi. Prior to this role, they served as a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Munich Business School and as the CEO & Founder of the European Center for Social Finance. Barbara also contributed to GLS Treuhand e.V. as a Member of the Investment Advisory Board and co-founded Volunteer Vision. Barbara has held positions in various organizations, including serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Hylea Foods AG and as a Junior Professor of Social Investment at Universität Hamburg. Furthermore, they have gained international exposure as a Visiting Fellow at the National University of Singapore. In the past, Barbara also worked at Allianz, where they held a leadership position in Impact Measurement and Social Finance.
