Head Of Policy And Performance at Volunteering Matters

Duncan Tree has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Duncan started their career as a Policy Officer at the Association of County Councils in 1990 and worked there until 1992. Duncan then joined the Association of County Councils again as a Senior Policy Officer from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they worked as a Senior Policy Officer at the Local Government Association from 1997 to 2003. In 2004, they joined Volunteering Matters as the National Development and Policy Manager and held this role until 2011. During their time at Volunteering Matters, they also served as the Head of Policy and Performance from 2011 onwards. Additionally, Duncan Tree worked as a Trustee at Age Concern Brighton Hove & Portslade from 2006 to 2011.

Duncan Tree holds a BA (Hons) degree in Public Administration from Sheffield City Polytechnic, which they completed in 1989. Duncan later pursued an MA in US Politics at the University of London, which they obtained in 1999.
