Amber Ferris

Amber Ferris is a dedicated professional with experience in peer support and public health. Currently serving as a Certified Peer Support Specialist at Volunteers of America Utah since April 2022, Amber has a strong background in assisting individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges. Previous roles include a Public Health intern at Utah State University during the summer of 2020 and a Certified Peer Support Specialist at Valley Behavioral Health from August 2019 to February 2020. Additionally, Amber worked as a Patient Service Representative for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in 2015. Amber is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Utah State University, expected to graduate in 2025, and holds a Career Diploma in Social Work from Ashworth College.
