Certified Peer Support Specialist at Access Behavioral Health Services

Michelle (nina) Miller is an experienced Certified Peer Support Specialist with a strong background in mental health and crisis response. Currently employed at Access Behavioral Health Services since May 2018, Michelle empowers clients dealing with Depression, Anxiety, and other mental health challenges through personal lived experience. In addition, Michelle has been a crisis phone responder for the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline since May 2015. Previous roles include Certified Peer Support Specialist at LIFE COUNSELING CENTER, INC. and Real Solutions Counseling Services, as well as volunteer work with Allies Linked for the Prevention of HIV and AIDS and The Board of the Utah County HIV/AIDS Coalition. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Boise State University and an A.S. in Sociology from the College of Western Idaho, along with ongoing education in Mental Wellness through Jannus.org.
