Ericka English

Ericka English is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in marketing and communications. As the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at Volunteers of America-Texas since November 2014, Ericka develops and leads both internal and external communications initiatives while driving an annual communications calendar. Prior to this role, Ericka served as a Corporate Communications Specialist at Entergy, where responsibilities included creating and coordinating communications materials for internal audiences and contributing to external media relations. Earlier experiences include positions as an Outreach Coordinator for the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission, News Anchor/Reporter at KBTV 4, and Production Assistant at KTRK ABC 13. Ericka holds a Master of Arts in Managerial Communication from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Radio and Television from Sam Houston State University.
